Charles Hardy

A qualified accountant with broad experience in a diverse range of business sectors, with a particular focus on start-ups and owner-managed SMEs. Charles is a commercially minded individual who works well on his own or as part of a team and specialises in supporting owner managed businesses to understand and deal with the financial side of business in conjunction with the broader commercial aspects.

Charles qualified as a Chartered Accountant over 20 years ago and has spent most of his subsequent career working with owner managed SMEs and new start-up businesses, establishing systems and controls and developing processes to suit individual businesses’ needs as they grow and evolve.

After qualifying, Charles initially gained considerable experience with a small business in the direct sales market which grew rapidly and ultimately floated on AIM. Taking on a diverse range of roles, both financial and commercial, this fuelled his passion for working with small start-up and growth businesses. With an attention to detail and an analytical mind, Charles has a proven track record with and is ideally suited to working with this type of business and can offer considerable expertise in financial modelling, management accounts and due diligence work amongst others.
