During his past career Glyn as a Finance Director has:

• Managed a business to turn its loss making subsidiary into profit , achieving a 4% growth of market share in a declining market
• Managed the closure of the final salary pension scheme, replacing it with alternative pension benefits to save costs of some £100,000 annually.
• Improved cash flow in a number of businesses under PE ownership
• Successfully set up a number of subsidiaries in the UK and Europe
• Managed the disposal of companies and business units
• Improved profitability through focus on sensible cost cutting
• Managed HR departments understanding the key issues to hire and retain staff
• Developed successful relationships with owners, bankers, auditors and legal professionals
• Helped develop management teams at board level
• Successfully integrated new businesses into Groups ensuring the culture and controls are adopted in a timely fashion

Glyn now uses his strong strategic and numerate skills to help other businesses grow, achieve profitability and success and much of this is due to his broad exposure to a number of industries, his target-driven attitude, leadership abilities, and his keen eye for detail. He is based in the North West of England but is happy to travel within reason as required.
