Nils’ career brings together recruitment, management consultancy, and frontline experience in the banking sector. He founded his first recruitment business while still at university and went on to spend 10 years in senior roles within the City, primarily in financial services. Since 2017 he has been MD of Mature Accountants, guiding it successfully past its 20-year milestone and expanding its reach through a strategic partnership with EFM. MA has over 30,000 registered accountants and covers roles across the UK.

This blend of experience now enables Nils to identify, engage, and place highly capable Finance professionals in full-time roles within growing businesses, where they can add value quickly and sustainably.

Nils’ focus is predominately in supporting businesses in the SME sector, cross industry and across the UK. Nils is also well versed in helping businesses prepare for investment, scale operations, and improve financial governance.

Nils’ baby daughter takes up much of his time and energy when he’s not working, but he also enjoys watching sport, including cricket, golf, and football. He previously played hockey at international level, but now mainly keeps himself in shape by doing park run, hyrox and cross-fit training!
