James is a chartered accountant with 12+ years of commercial experience at Finance Director /MD level. Experienced in a broad range of sectors including manufacturing, marine, retail, leisure, hotel, and FMCG. He has worked in both business to business as well as business to consumer companies. With a passion for finance, the ability to quickly identify the key business issues and a practical approach, he has a track record of growing companies through both acquisition and organic growth.

James has helped clients implement robust internal controls, improve month-end reporting processes and developed KPI analysis. He has recruited and developed finance teams to provide value added reporting. He also has overseas experience and has set up subsidiary operations in France, USA, Lithuania and Yemen.

He has been engaged in due diligence, company acquisitions and disposals and the subsequent integration of a number of businesses and worked extensively at managing successful transitions of finance and non-finance functions.
