Board-level Finance Director with technical, commercial, and change management expertise – and the human touch
For Faye, a career in Finance was not so much a choice as a given. Through school and university, she always knew that Finance was her ultimate calling, and combined her studies with part-time Finance positions in everything from small local businesses to one of the UKs largest insurers, plus a placement at a Big Four consultancy. Faye aimed high, and her 15 years in Finance reflect this, with an accelerated career trajectory that has seen her, amongst other achievements, lead an international charity back to financial recovery post-Covid, change-manage a company’s transition to a new IT system, and oversee major assets and capital programme finances for a London local authority. Whether in large or small organisations, Faye brings value to her role by focusing on strategy. She works closely with both Board members and other stakeholders to deliver higher-level financial and business advice, whilst also ensuring strategy is scrutinised, operational goals are met and stretched, and Directors are held to account. But she also brings to this strategic focus a practised human touch, born, in part, of her charity work earlier in her career. She has drawn on this to deliver a strong track record of putting in place training to develop both Finance and non-Finance individuals in order to achieve business goals.

Faye keeps fit and healthy with weightlifting, skiing, and swimming, whilst she nurtures her creative side through reading, theatre, and, latterly, tailoring, in which she has completed a formal two year course.
Aside from her hobbies and interests, Faye also loves to enjoy life to the full with her family and friends – activities her part-time work at EFM leaves ample scope for.
